A short update on the avocado experiment.
I’ve decided I’m going to have three pits in the “Mateja” group (which is the toothpick method). The reason for that is that the pits from avocados that I got as a birthday present aren’t in great shape. Here’s the current situation:

The left one is the one from February 1st. It’s skin is starting to crack. The problem with that one is that it’s submerged in water just a tiny bit. As the water evaporates, it quickly looses the touch with water. We’ll see how that affects it.
The middle one is the one from February 6th. I don’t know if this one is fertile at all. The water seems to turn dirty quite quickly.
The right one is the one from February 12th. It’s probably in the worst shape of the three. It’s much smaller than the other ones and it’s skin is all wrinkled on the top.
